Active Move is a coordinated app, a platform where associations and sports facilities in each municipality collaborate and offer exercise activities to young people aged 13 to 20. With the watchwords, joy, community and flexibility sport is offered for everyone! The Active Move app offers a “try-on” model where everyone can participate in optional activities regardless of association organizer.
“A team that is easy to work with, short decision-making paths and at the same time experienced experts with knowledge in all areas. A complete partner to trust who can deliver the right overall solution with 100% confidence from start to finish. “

Only 1 in 10 children move for 60 minutes a day. 50% of children finish sports before the age of 12. With this in mind, the Active Move project is being driven, which is a system innovation within the joy of movement.
The app is primarily aimed at those young people who have quit association sports and there the challenge is to get these young people to rediscover the joy of movement. There should be less focus on competition and performance where the goal is joy of movement and improved health.
How do you get this target group to dare to try new activities and how do you get young people to discover Active Move in the media noise?
To enable this, there needs to be low thresholds and feel inviting to use the app. Friends have a big meaning at this age and you get inspired by each other so the challenge has been how can you combine this with gamification.
Active Move consists of an administrative web page where associations post activities for the youth. The associations here have the opportunity to describe the activity and select the associated information.
Users create an account in the app and gain access to a platform filled with different types of activities sorted by date, level, heart rate and location. You can also see how many places are available, which association organizes and info on how the activity will be carried out. Of course, you can set weekly goals and the app gives you encouragement and motivation.
The pilot test is currently in full swing in Umeå municipality and will end in Q1 2023 and then iterate further for the big launch in 2023.
In 2023, youth with different efforts will influence their membership cost, which is important for integration and long-term sustainability.
The goal is the development of movement understanding and that the individual should be physically active throughout life.
Digitalization creates new opportunities and streamlines, which means that the Active Move sports model gets a helicopter perspective and it becomes Equal for All.
The goal is to “Improve the life of the association”
The vision is that by 2028 the model will be a natural part of the associations' exercise activities for young people and in the long run create better public health.
